Thinking of purchasing this gun and wanted some pro and cons on it first as to its performance on ducks it comes with interchangeable 24 and 28 barrels

well if it's anything like my 535 then it's a real shoulder buster with 3-3.5" loads.
I have a Mossberg 835 and it is a shooting mo fo. I don't know bout ducks but I've kill a turkey at 60 yards and 3 bucks from 110 yards to 135 yards with 1Buck. That's with the 28" I donT have the 24" barrel. I couple of times I carried it dove hunting and it would feed to early and jam. Not every time but enough I won't take it anymore. Some people say I didn't pump it hard enough, But I'm no newby to guns, I know how to pump it! (sorry about that got a little carried away)

I've got an 835. I've never been duck hunting but I have used it for skeet shooting and some dove hunting (more like dove missing). I did pretty good on the skeet shooting, but I use it mostly for hog hunting. No complaints with mine.
