How old are your dogs anyway?
bro and sis and will be 10 in october. used to feed them eukaneuba when we had a little money, now it's the members mark cheap stuff from sams club. you guys know of any good food not too expensive? they never had this problem in N.Y.
If it is a food allergy, I would try and confirm that by feeding a very limited diet of one part lean protein to two parts starch....otherwise, for all you know, the next bag of dog food you buy will have the same additive as the current one and you'll be in the same boat.
Sounds like they are getting bit by fleas. Many dogs are highly allergic to flea bites. I know my lab was. His bites would bleed and get infected. Run a flea comb thru them and see if there are any on them. If so, get them on comfortis ASAP. I have no faith in the topicals. And you said that they are in the pool every day, so they are doing you absolutely no good.
Honestly that is where I would start. Sometimes fleas are hard to see too.
