Vonnick don't spoil that puppy and make a pet out of it.He will grow up and think he's a person instead of a dog. I'd keep him in a pen if possible. Let me no when you want to come up and we'll see what he can do.
She's a housedog til I can get out of school. Honestly, I won't have a broken heart if she don't hunt...if she does, cool. There are always others dogs out there, and every man needs a good dog by his side. This one is already picking up hand signals, so she's definitely trainable. I know there is conflicting opinion as to whether a house dog will hunt, so I reckon we'll see.
I'll probably try and get up your way here in a couple weeks, have some beers and watch the puppies. I'll give you a holler.
Dogs that have been coddled too much usually dont like to get to far away from their master. Its not bad to have at least one dog that likes to hang close to you in the woods, especially if theyre a little rough.
Yeah, spoiled dogs ain't worth a damn for anything in my book. I definitely don't coddle her, but the girlfriend gives her more loving than I like. We are working away from that though.....
Ha! Thats the hardest part keeping em away from momma. Mrs Podunk loves to spoil the puppies, theres a happy medium between being affectionate and plumb ruining them.
