I saw this guy on the side of the road using a huge antenna yesterday.. So people actually use leash monitors on these dogs? what are they scared that they might not come back? anyone know anything about this.?

we hunted for years without a tracking system but after having one i would never go back....a good hunting dog is very valuable atleast mine are to me.the system takes all the guess work out of where your dog is....example-i have a bulldog i use solo sometimes and if he get far out on a hog and he is caught on i use the system to track right to him....a bulldog doent bark and a good boar doesnt squeel...a dog could be dead from a hog/gator/shot or whatever and i can find him
ok that makes sence.. i just like to stalk and shoot.. but man you must be bringing in the meat more then me!... i have an english bulldog.. if i let her go loose she would just find a nice spot and fall to sleep.. and id be able to find her by listening for the snoring.. lol
When I used to dog hunt we went to tracking collars. It sure made life easy
so let me get this straight.. you let this dog loose and it finds a hog and kills it.. dont you get scared that a pack of hogs or hogzilla might hurt your dog? Dont mine me im new to the dog hunting subject!
