what went for a swim?
We hunted hard Fri morn,could never get under a hog. Dogs crossed back and forth in a block for 3 hrs and found nothing. Around 11 my dog started baying which I thought was funny. I was pretty sure she was trashing since she is still young and not finished yet.But I took Carlos in anyway just in case and sure enough she was baying a diller.A common problem for a young dog especially when they worked hard all that time and found no hog. So I caught them off of it and gave Carlos my shotgun and I had to lead the two dogs back to the truck. Going back we had to cross a slew and I was behind him.Next thing he started weaving back and fourth and down he went with my shotgun underneath him.We got up and I took my gun back and started again and oopsy,down he went again with his rifle this time. That's an entire new experience for someone and the mud was pretty sticky. It's happened to me plenty of times in the past and it will happen again.
gotta post a pic of him covered in mud. did he find a wallow he could roll around in?

carry my own gear, do not hand off to Carlos.... :pinch
