Do any of you guys have or have had one of these dog's? We might be getting one.

I've got one. Great dogs. Gentle with the family, hard charging in the woods, easy to train and eager to please. They can be pretty funny too. They like to climb and they love to swim.

My fishing partner adopted one full grown. That dog is fast, really fast and listens well. However he was never gun trained. We took him camping and decided to shoot some clays, dog ran off and didn't come back for 2 hours.

Great dogs, strong, fast, smart.
There is a catahoula rescue group in FL also if you want to go that direction.

The pup we are going to get is from a friend of the family.
