I've been spending most of this summer beating the heat and fishing for snapper at night on the beach. While the full moon's provide the best action, mother nature doesn't always line up her schedule with the lunar cycle so we go when we can. I fished on a buddies boat this past Friday and the fish were chewing! We had a limit of fish by 10:15 and were culling out our smaller fish some bigger guys. Most fish were in the 2 - 4lb (15"-20") class on this trip but we have had fish up to 6lbs on previous trips. All the fish came off of either cut bait or small live pilchards in 14' of water. I don't have any good "hero" shots of the catch, but I"ll include a crappy cooler shot just because pictures make a post better.
