You cannot remove a jewfish from the water to remove a hook, take a pic, or anything. They are highly protected. They are claiming that is a Warsaw grouper, which would be legal. However, every message board I am seeing thinks this is a jewfish(they do look similar) as I think it is too
I don't care either way becacuse there are too many of the damn things anyway.

+1 but i cant really see the tail. i have seen jewfish with similar colors though. nice fish either way. i hope they open a season on them soon. its not like people arent already slaughtering them down in the keys filet and release anyways. they are becoming a nuisance in many areas.
