Hey guys, looking for a little help here. I drew 1st archery tosohatchee and was wondering if anyone had any pointers as far as where to start scouting. I will be starting next week if my work schedule allows.
Thanks

Bring a good mountain bike. There are not a lot of roads to drive in on. And, if you wanna get away from the crowds and possibly bag a decent deer, ur gonna have to go where nobody else is. I would focus on the river portions.

Ive Driven through tosohatchee before, nice property but it seems like it would be hard to hunt, dont really have any advice to give you. Maybe use google earth, there were areas where woodland met marshes and open wetlands, maybe hunt the edges or near them....or maybe isolated areas of woods that stand out and are different then the majority of habitat, its def not swamp like im use too, seems to be more palm trees and salt marsh I think, maybe fresh or brackish.

Oh, it's all fresh to brackish. Stick along the river and find some oak hammocks within 50-100 yards of the thick stuff. Early morning and late afternoon/evening are your best bets. Although the scrubs and palmettos down towards 520 in the evenings are good for hogs.
