I got to my stand at 5:15 pm fri afternoon,feeder went off at 5:30,I was reloading my bow at 5:40. Had a herd of boar hogs show up,about a dozen. Nosows ,all boars. I've never seen a herd like that. They went from 35 lbs to about 100 lbs. That one this morning would make all of them his bitch,he was a dog killer.
Well I left here Friday and went to Chiefland walmart like I usually do and spent much needed money on unnecessary stuff. I got almost to Cross city and a sickening realization hit me.
I realized at that moment that every arrow I owned was sitting at home. Yep I had took my quiver off and did not put it back in my bow case.
I made a 70mph u-turn and went back to chiefland. Got 3 arrows, a pack of shockwave bh's and a hip quiver.
Good thing is I can return everything I had to get. That was one of my better dumass moves of my hunting career. Been a long time since I forgot something important like that
