It's spot on now. 😆
Yep that is my only fault with this bow. The slide developed a squeak when you draw back. It actually cost me a hog this year. I have a new one ready to go, though. But no there is no fletching/cable contact, even witht he blazers
Bear Vapor 300... the paper work claimed 304 fps. (just like all the others) But what they don't tell you is that's shooting an arrow that's about 5 grains above a dry fire, so anyhoos I shot mine new 3 yrs. ago and it chronographed at 208 fps. After about $1200 worth of mods and errors I got it shooting at 289 fps. I changed and tried many different strings, buss cables, rests, release systems, dampeners, even handles and it's finally right. I shoot an airforce arrow from doyens w/blazer vanes and cheap 3 blade expandable broadheads, and I've not hit a hog or yet that did'nt bust out the other side. And yes that is my bow press and arrow cutter, it's easier for me to do my own repairs because closest to me is arrowhead archery and I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than do business w/them.
*cough*
