How many lbs are you shooting.

So how many lbs are you shooting at.. mine is set to 70 but i truly think im going to lower it down to 60 for a while until i build up my strength.

It is best to start out at a lwoer lb-age this gives you time to aquire skills plus gives you the ability to shoot better.As your skills get better up the lb-age!!

yep. That is exactly what I suggested to him on the phone.

As for me I shoot 70# on my bow and 175# on my crossbow

cr0ck, don't think you have to have 70# to kill an animal with. It is a nice luxury to be a big guy and be able to shoot it, but you don't have to have it. Ted Nugent only shoots 50# and he bowhunts every day.
I killed my 1st archery deer with a Bear whitetail hunter that was so slow it wouldn't even stabalize the arrows. I think I pulled 42# on it. got a pas thru on my first deer with it at 30 yrds with crappy Satellite BH's and the deer dropped in its tracks

For sure lb-age and speed are way over rated a razor shrp broadhead placed in the vitals kills!!
