some of the guys in my hunt camp, are bow crazy. buying the latest and greatest every year. can't afford to change bows every year. you just need to try shooting several different ones. then go with what is comfortable to you. if you are gonna hunt from a stand, i would try to stick to the shorter axel to axel bows. alot easier to deal with in a stand.
Well, have shot several so far and here's what I found
- Bear Game Over - okay, feels good in my hand, but a little jumpy
- PSE AXE = very tight bow,. really long axle and quite a bit of recoil, but FAST! Smokin Fast.
- PSE Bow Madness = WOW! Smooth, lightweight, quiet, and almost no felt recoil at all. [flash=]Wow![/flash] Did I mention how quiet it was with absolutely nothing but the site and a nock loop? That bow is sweet! (I think I've found THE bow. Now, to find one in a price I can afford. Santa left me a small chunk of change, but it ain't quite enough for the Madness.
Next question...BM XS or MC? Both feel good, quiet. only difference is 2 1/4" ATA and speed. Weight is about the same too.
thanks. anybody else have an opinion? I got feedback from Cr0ck1 sayin XS too.
i would go with the shorter ATA. jmo
