I bought a bow and accessories tonight. Was listed on Craigslist, and something told me I had to call the guy.
It's a 2008 Bear Buckmaster. Right now it has a 29in draw length and 70lb draw weight. I don't know what I need exactly, so I'll need some help getting it set up for me. It came with a Flambeau hard case, Truglo fiber optic 3-pin sight set up for 20,30, and 40yds, fall away arrow brace, Truglo stabilizer, Truglo 5 arrow quiver, 10 new Carbon Express Terminator carbon fiber arrows ( 5 with field tips, 5 with 100g Muzzy broadheads ), Tru-Fire release, wrench's and spare bolt's and a couple extra Muzzies.
I know I won't be ready to hunt with it this season, but come next season I'll be out there slingin' sticks! :rockon
Sweet, sounds like all you will need is practice
:rockon
I was able to pull it back set at 70lb, but I believe I'll be feeling it tomorrow! I could probably shoot it 3 times then I'd be worn out. Definitely will need to practice and get conditioned. Looking forward to it!
Turn it down, you will be fine shooting around 60. It will be better at lower poundage because you will be able to shot more accurate. Make sure you are shooting the right spline arrows.
Supposedly the arrows were matched to the bow. He said he shot at three deer, got 3 kills. But I'll be getting with some you "experts" before shooting it to make sure I have what I need. I do plan to get a drop-away rest and try those FOBs instead of fletchings at some point. Heck, before you know it I'll have it all blinged out! :clap
