Been seeing some decent deals out there for new bows, especially the Bear Truth 2 (I know, it's the 2009 model). Anyways, was wonderin bout the pros and cons of Hoyt versus Bear versus PSE and Mathews. I've narrowed it down to these 5, but leaning more towards the Bear line. I like the higher fps on the Bear, but I don't wanna shell out $$$ and find out I hate it. Any help would be appreciated. In any case, it will be a huge step up from my Parker Phoenix.
ima stay away from this one.. look.. its simple.. shoot em all and buy the one you like. thats the most fair way to say it.
Yea pretty much just try to shoot them all and pick the one that you like the best. Im sure the FPS for all of them are pretty close if they all have the same draw weight. I dont think the difference between 300 FPS and 310 FPS, for example, is a big deal. JMO
No fair, man! I can't even find some of them in the stores anymore. They are all mostly 2009 models. With my limited budget, I'm gonna be lucky to scrounge up 4 Franklins for a new one. All I'm looking for is something lighter, quieter, and faster than my Parker. Gonna probably be my last new bow for quite a while with the Obamanation in the big White House and the economy in the crapper.
four franklins is cheap.. lol.. mine was 6 franklins barebones with nothing on it when i first bought it.
