got a new stand thought i would start practiceing from it how high should i set it to hunt hogs?

My stand is only about 2 ft. off the ground but I'm using a shotgun.

all depends on the area. u want some cover but not too high up that you cant see anywhere. gotta scout out some areas

From 1 to 50 feet. The main thing is the wind. Set up down wind from them and you'll be fine. Unlike deer they have piss pore vision.

8-12 feet.................I dont think I've ever seen a tree stand 50 feet in the air. :tequila
