not sure if blazer veins have a shelf life or not or if the glue was old or maybe if there was too much humidity, but the arrows that i fletched last week, when i shot them yesterday, the veins came right off when they passed thru the biscuit. we clean them up and refletched with dura veins and they worked grrreat. different veins, different glue, i liked the way the dura veins seemed to be easier to work with as well. so we shot some arrows and lost a couple, i hit a branch shooting 3D and the arrow deflected and struck a power pole and it went thru it with no damage to the arrow(gold tip xt). it was crazy. the newly fletched arrows flew well. very happy with them. the reason i thought maybe the blazer veins had a shelf life was some of them were discolored, not sure if my boss left them in the sun too long or what the case may be, all i know is the dura veins seemed to be easier to work with.

yeah, i cleaned them, i think it was the glue or the fletchings, only say that cause some of them were faded in color, like i said, not sure how long they have had them. i checked out spurlows in frostproof this weekend, nice place, ill definately go back there sometime. they have a big selection and the guys who run it are very knowledgable and do ALOT of business out of there.

i was just trying them out, first time shooting the smaller veins. the jojan did a great job with the duraveins, and they seem to fly really well, so for now, im gonna use them. next on the list is a new sight. not sure what im gonna go with yet. ill probably go by spurlows when its time though. i have some sidework this week and that may pay for it.
