I've spent the last few weeks fine tuning my bow so the broad heads and field points would have the same POI. Well after today I'm finally happy with the results. After moving the rest a hair at a time up and over It's shooting tight groups out to 60 yards. Here is a link to the method I used most of you probably seen it but for the rest of you here it is, it works great! http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=539460&highlight=broadhead+tuning+day I started at 30 yards and ended up at 60 yards going back and forth. Something will be getting stuck this upcoming season :devil2: Here are the pic's at 60 yards from today, one field point arrow the other is a broad head (G5 Striker). Be prepaired to break some arrows ,this process cost me two but well worth it.
That is the thread I refer everyone to that wants to tune their bow correctly. Isnt it nice to shoot a well tuned bow "tup"
I need to do the same thing here in the next few weeks
dude you are the long range master..lol.. but you cant touch me at the 80 yard mark at lake park tho.. lol..
My bow was way out of tune back then! I challenge you to a redo when your all better. :cowboy: And yes it is nice being allot more confident in your shots. I would practice 3-4 times a week and once i started getting sloppy I'd end my tuning and just shoot so i wouldn't make things worse. Thats why it took so long. But It's strait up deadly out to 60 yards now!!!!!
well i need to get mine righ at 60 yards also.. so wen im better we are getting together.. i got these deer by my stand about about 60 yards away..
