Camp B..........for sure I live twenty minutes from chazzzz and hunted there when it first open and I will never hunt there, the place suckes as far as I can tell. yah i know they kill a few animals there but for its size it is pretty low #s of animals taken. The state got it just for the Bears to have a home. I knew some guys that hunted it when Dr. Gills owned it before the state purchased it and they ran dogs and they never did very well. I would drive to perry befor I wasted my time there.
Well....It's been better than 10 years last time i was in Blanding....I loved the then dog hunt walk in area, now closed.....
What happen to the camp ground?
Some developer bought it several years back, kicked all those folks out, tore down every building and then sat on it. They've not done much with since then. The rumor we hear is something about condos or apartments or something.
They've really improved the campgrounds on the base though. They even redid all the quonset huts on the lake and built some real nice cabins. But, access is the hard part. Gotta be able to get on the base to stay there.
