The basic principle to understand is this.
Your BH will fly exactly like a FP if your bow is tuned. What is "TUNED"? All tuned means is your knock point and your arrow rest are set up as to where your arrow leaves your bow 100% straight.
That means if you were to lock your bow in a vice and it was 100% level and plum, your arrow knocked on the string would be 100% level and plum and leave the bow the same way.
A FP is more forgiving because there are no blades to create a planing effect.Hence the reason mechanicals advertise to shoot just like fp's. Nothing to create planing. If your rest is off of center just a fraction, or your knock point is up or down just a fraction, it WILL cause a BH to fly differently because it is not leaving your bow straight and will catch air.
Take the time to broadhead tune(which is usually nothing more than adjusting your rest in very very small increments) and you can screw on any broadhead on the market and it will fly just like a FP

Also, with a properly tuned bow you should be able to shoot an arrow with a fp and no fletchings on it.

Hope this helps a bit. Im not the best at explaining stuff

knock point cannot be 100 percent level with the bow riser.. its suppost to be 1/8 of an inch higher to 1/4.

Yes you are correct. The knock point is slightly higher so that the arrow sits level
