wait a minute, you are shooting fixed blades. most mechanicals shoot like your field points. still work????

Yeah it will be harder,or easier depending how you look at it, to tune using a mechanical broad head. It will appear it's perfect but the arrow could be entering the animal at an angle which will make you use KE resulting in loss of penetration. Allot of people just get tired of trying to tune their bow to shoot a fixed blade accurately. And then switch to mech. broad heads because they fly like field points, basically covering up the problem instead of fixing it.
