I just had a barracuda bow string put on my bow was this a bad decision I thought they were good strings but have not heard much bout them
You should be alright with that string. Not sure what type of bow you're shooting but the barracuda is generally a bit of a step up from a stock string.

I have always used the zebra twist hybrid string on my bows and never a problem after break in, except for reserveing center serving, They always slip later on when set up has been shooting perfect. My buddy had me install a new barracuda string and cable set on his switchback xt, I adjusted every thing to factory specs and could not stop peep rotation. Not the only barracuda set to do this to me. Repaced with a hybrid string and cable, adjusted to spec and perfect no peep rotation Most of the bow manufacturers recommend a new string and buss cable every two years,
