thats why i questioned center shot. does cooks have a good selection? i have been by there while working down there years ago, but never stopped in. i have dealt with center shot before and dont care to go back. i ordered arrows from him once, a specific kind and he purposely ordered a different kind and told me that these were better. i know they werent better, and even if they were equal quality i believe that if someone orders something, then you should get them what they ask for. he tried to tell me the carbon swift arrows were better than the beemans that i originally ordered. and to make matters worse, he charged me for the beemans and gave me the swifts. i have never set foot in his shop again. i have heard from a lot of people that they have had similar experiences with him, his way or no way. some people really like him though, so i guess its all how you take him.
well maybee you should to go log cabin.. that guy will explain why he thinks something is better then if you still want theones you want hell get em for you..its in land o lakes.
im looking for someone closer, the closest place to me that i have been to is doyens sawmill archery, and he is pretty good and will get what i want just doesnt have much in stock. cooks in venice is closer, maybe they have a good selection of tips. i dont mind someone explaining why a product is better than another, but when you dont tell your customer that you arent ordering what they asked for and you order them crap, i think that is wrong and not a good service. i think that if someone orders something from me, then i should get it for them, if i think they can do better with another product, i will tell them and give them the option to make the decision, but i would certainly not order them something they did not ask for and charge them the price for the product they asked for and give them a product that was of a lower cost.
If I remember right Cooks has an indoor target range for bow's. It's been a good year since I've been in there, but they used to have good people that worked there.
Eric Cook is awsome he will take the time to explain why you need what your buying. He will have everything you need and unlike Dale at Centershot he is very personable.
