Same here...small one I shot last week didn't even stink when I checked them.
Well Tuesday morning and getting ready to carry my dad of 80 on a hunting trip this morning. I have to find a blind close to the road because he can't go far. But many times he has carried me out... To be continued.

7:00 I got pops to his stand this morning and started to mine. It took about 30 minutes to hot foot it around the block to reach mine 7:25 and I'm up daylight is here and the woods are coming alive. The crows are awake and a turkey gives a lite tree call. Maybe I can sit back now and calm down a bit... Pops has this "hunting" truck a Chevy S 10 that totally reworked and uses just for the woods. He got the hair brained idea that we'd bring it down and leave it at the camp. Of course he would have nothing to do but to drive it himself. We start off with him behind me and he is flicking the lights and the blinker. So I pull over and get out to see what's wrong. He rolls down the window and says "I can't find the dimmer switch" its right here dad on the blinker but its OK because they are already on dim. "I know I just couldn't find it" he said. Anyway we finally made it safe and sound.

Pops got pinned at 30 yards he said that he was a good one. I didn't see nothing although I did see 9 turkeys. I had a Dr. appointment this afternoon and didn't want to go back to the woods :taz
