Well I took off the second week of b/p for vacation and have really enjoyed the cool mornings. But it has been one of the slowest b/P's that can remember. I've seen some small bucks but nothing that I'd shoot in this lease. Now it is starting to get hot again reaching 80 today. I not going to complain to much because I have seen game. No sign of any rut happening here yet but I'll continue to wait.

Although I am pretty sure I heard 2 bucks lock horns Saturday morning. Had a doe come out at 8AM. I had the wind in my face and there's no way she knew I was there. She walked out and kept looking over her shoulder. I have a feeling a buck was following her. Instead of walking on out, she turned around to the way she came. About 30 seconds later It sounded like 2 bucks hitting each other or someone smashing rattling horns together. Only lasted about 5 seconds. Every squirrel for a mile went ballistic, and then she started blowing...and blew and blew and blew....
