It was a Traditions Yukon that I was actually having problems with and had to send back to the company about a week before the season. They overnighted it to me and I sighted it in the day before I left, needless to say I was stressing out just a tad. Not to mention sighting it in was a 3 hour deal. I got up there the 1st and shot a XTP Horady 240gr with 2 777 behind it. I was suprised there wasn't and exit wound. It went about 20 yards in some thick stuff and after about 5 yards I couldn't find any blood. I went back to camp got the boys and 5 of us spent 30min or so before we found it and it was pretty damn lucky. I hit one lung, but she just didnt want to bleed. Found out today 2 more were shot, but before then the deer wernt really moving. For all you guys and gals on leases we had a forestry Fire tractor in there cut fire lanes and the deer just love them. They are like highways, just thought I would pass that on.
