We took a boat up the feeder creeks, off of a big creek,off of the river. Set up tents and everything. That was over 20 years ago,I can't believe the stupid stuff we did.

One night the guys brought some clown who got lost,he had no compass, no light,and maybe 2 or 3 extra rounds of ammo. Dude just wandered off,guess they hollered him in at 4:00 in the morn.
Buddy of mine did that in your backyard. we were campin at twin ponds and he got lost over by seed orchard. It was a new moon and he had no flashlight. Got him out at 1000 and he looked like he had fought a wildcat from briars hitting him in the face trying to get out
I did the same last year in Gorge,my buddy shot a hog at dark and tracked into a Ti Ti head and his light went dim and he had no compass. I went all the way back to camp and waited till 9:30 before I went back out to find him. It was the real cold nite during BP season,I honked the horn and he went to hollerin'. Then his battery went dead in his truck and I had to jump start him.To make matters worse he went to Perry the next morn to get a truck battery and got back to his stand around 8:30 to see a guy dragging a buck out of his spot.
