http://www.fws.gov/lowersuwannee/hunting.html ---- is the web site click on hunting then click where it says "Hunt Brochure" just print it large enough so that you can read it and sign it and keep it with you while you hunt. I've hunted there alot and there is a lot of game. I used to hunt around barnett creek rd but have seen game just about everywhere I've been in there.

Nacho, that is a Federal mangt area. They have areas on both sides of the river. You can go down by Fowlers Bluff or cross the river and head down 324 at Old Town. Seen some giant bucks come out of there and lots of hogs. The best way to hunt it is to take a boat down the river and hike in with a GPS. Lots of ancient oak hammocks out there, beautiful woods. We've even found old rail beds in there where they used to log out the cypress.

I guess I should say old rails, not rail bed. They are twisted and disapear then reapear. Very easy to get lost in there, lots of feeder creeks, also have to pay attention to the tides if going by boat. Great hunting adventure but a lot of hard work getting in that way.Probably why I haven't gone back in years.
