Well lets just agree to disagree on that one then.
May not be the best shot angle in the world. Everyone knows that the broadside or quartering away is the best. But Ill take that shot all day. Goes in thru the lungs, possibly the heart and will come out behind the opposite shoulder. I would not take that shot at a long distance, but inside 20 yards Ill do it every time. I have about 30 bow kills to my name and have made that shot angle before with no problems. Done it with a bow and rifle
Matter of fact the very first deer I killed with a bow at the age of 14 was a shot just like that. Shooting a 45 lb recurve, I got a pass thru and the deer went 5'
i understand.. just know that moose was gonna turn broad side. but well he harvested it and thats a good thing. Im happy he DIDNT get hurt.
