Hey how do you cook coon? Is it any good? I wanna try one but don't know how to cook it.

Never ate a coon,I usually turn them loose when I catch them .Like any other animal I'd dress and quarter them. Brown them in a skillet and maybe cook them in a stew or something.They can't be all that bad if you put enough gravy on them.

Is it true the meat is "greasy"? I've caught several around my house with a trap but I just relocate them along a creek on my family's land.
