Well, I did get to get in the woods the day after Thanksgiving which was GREAT. Was in the stand @ 5:30 am, saw nothing until 9:30. When 10 turkeys strolled out into the field I was watching. They were all males 6 Gobblers the shortest beard was about 9 inches and the two largest had 11 or better. The rest were Jakes, but with beards from 3 inches to 5 inches. Couldn't take any though, no fall season for em in GA. They did entertain me for about an hour and a half. Came out about noon for a bite and returned at 1:30. Only had a couple of tree rats investigate me that afteernoon. Overall it was a very satisfying day, one I have missed for a while. I'll get em the next time.
