I am gonna head out to do some crappie fishing this coming Monday. I can fish Lochloosa, Newnan's or Santa Fe near Gainesville or Trout and 6 Mile Creek near Jacksonville. With the price of gas, I can't go much farther afield than that.

So which one would you recommend?

Today's fishing report in the Florida Times Union by Bob McNally stated that crappie fishing has tapered off a bit around here in north Fla. so I'm kinda at a loss as to where to go.

I talked to a couple of guys the other day and they said Lochloosa bite has stopped.
