We catch them with a net just wish I could get them to bite a hook. Anyone else eat em?

They're great eating... They bite bread balls and worms.

I can eat the he** out of some blackened tilapia sandwiches. We cook them a number of ways but you have to make sure to take it easy on the oil, they can turn to mush real quick. My favorite is to bake them whole marinated in moho

We usually snatch them when they are thick, its a blast and you can fill the coolers very quickly.

Cast net. Ive noticed if they are in ponds they taste kinda muddy. In rivers they are excellent
