Not bad for a retention pond bass. Caught on shiners as we talked about the other day. Notice the wet shirt. It was raining. caught over 20 bass that day, few over 5 and this pig.did a little math(Multiply the square of the girth in inches by the length in inches and divide by 800) this puts the fish at about 11 pounds. she felt every bit of it.will be out there this evening especially if it rains.

No dice! Im 6' , 270. and this aint a roland martin pose ,holding it 3 feet away from my chest. ive caught enough 8 and 9's to know what im holding.been using the formula to calculate weight for over 10 yrs. and have verified it on accurate scales. it is very close. usually within 8-12 ozs. with bass. ive found that for some reason , salt water fish have greater margin of error. Dont hate on the double digit bass.. :beararms:
