North Jacksonville/Thomas Creek

I heard about this creek on the north side of Jacksonville. It's off Lannie Rd. near the new veterans' cemetary. I went out there today and the ramp looks decent and the parking area and restrooms are still under construction. I was wondering if anyone has fished it and how it is. I had heard that there was pretty good cat fishing in it. I was there at the tail end of low tide and the water was really flowing down toward the Nassau River. Thanks.
