The fishing was slow to say the least. I wasn't expecting to kill them seeing it wasn't' a full moon, but this was just bad. We caught 90% Oscars. I think they have taken over the lake. A few years ago you could catch huge bluegills,shell crackers,stump knockers, exct. But we only caught 1 bluegill, about 2 inches long. The locals were saying the same thing. It was a big disappointment to say the least. We kept a few to eat, and released a few dozen smaller ones. Not sure if I will return for a while. :nono:
