I would guess that you just have to be licensed yourself, but that is a guess based on fishing. Your child does not need papers to fish, so unsure if hunting is different (since firearms are involved). I'll be following this post so I also learn; take care.

It all goes with your credentials. You apply and if drawn you go with your daughter. Not sure if she needs yhe hunters ed certificate.

In order to apply , you have to put her Social Security # and birthdate . Then it will take you a different page . That's where you fill out her info Name , address, etc.. Then you apply , and will have a customer # given to her which will hers forever . She does not need a hunter safety course to hunt unless she's over 16 .
