Have the gun quota for next week and wondering where to start looking. Spent some time there but not much...Anyone hunt the airstrip ?
I hunted there some last year and have in the past.The place is a dog hunt area and is smack dab full of road clutter. Your best bet is to go in off of a hwy away from the crouds. It is one of the last remaining dog hunt areas left that you can run full size hounds in. They do kill some big bucks in there and there's lots of porkers,I stay away from there on weekends and hollidays.
air strips alright but hunt around megs hole on sw side close to green swamp west to still hunt not many dog hunters there i run dogs off south loop on the east side
