Deer are thick in Richloam. I quit counting tracks this morning. Some really nice ones I bet were bucks.

the only animals i have seen in the green swamp is one hen turkey and one aligator. i have shot many turkey birds in the swamp and can understand why i see them where i see them. the gator on the other hand has me puzzeled. he is living in small water hole in the middle of a palmetto flat. found him and the water by accident. tried hunting a different side of the swamp this year since it is near my commute and i can slip in from work real easy. i found a tree stand to sit in and it is kind of neat to watch the gator now if i could see a pig walking by that would be great. and the animal count boards seem real low maybe the recession has hit them hard too
