I'd hunt it,but you know what they say" Ignorance is no excuse". If your sitting there and feel paranoid all the time thinking about getting busted is it worth it? Do everything to the best of your ability to make sure your safe then go hunt it.
If you got a wma stamp why not? if the wma is open at the time you shoot why not? dont see why not if you got all your legal paperwork, hunting license, bow license, and mainly WMA permit your ok!
you can enter through your private property! everyone who hunts wmas sees private property and says "dam i wish i owned that property so i could get to that part the wma" lol..
its quota only all the time?
I got the reverse situation in one of the wmas i hunt. I found a nice sweet spot on the totally other side of the wma. Noone hunts there cause it is wrapped by private property. and to get to it you either have to walk the 200 yards through some guys empty private property OR you can walk through the swamp that is on the edges cause its the wmas swamp. Theres no fences just a post with a sign at the end of the road that tells you when you are of his property and on the wma. I just get scared that game that i might take might run over to there and then i get caught and have no proof that i shot it on the wma. The GW knows about this and during hunting season i was told he hangs out in the woods and waits for hunters to try to take the shortcut back to the truck instead of walking far around the swamp. I mean walking the 200 yards through his property saves you a half hour. But its just a weird situation.
Private property is private property.Walk thru the swamp and stay off the mans land.
never said i did.. just said theres a faster way cause i can see the gate i park next to and i can go on google and see where i walk through the swamp and enter legally.
