Anybody see or get anything this weekend? my buddy and i had an aramdillo shakin some palmettos, and one pig that we did not get to put in the sights, other than that we walked up on a 5ft gator on dry land, and saw and flushed a mess of doves.
Saw nothing saturday eve.
sunday morning walked around exploring area I was never in before, walked around in some water even but never saw anything. Did also walk around by pine tree planted rows near jennings blvd entrance.. lots of skeeters in there wow.. also ran into older guy with what looked like a kentucky long rifle? walked and bullsheeted with him for a little.
sunday eve I ran climber up a tree that had fresh pig trail and sign around it but nothing ever showed.
I went in on east side off jennings blvd. every time (except to run to main entrance for report cards)
those fresh fire break trails are a great workout to walk! so soft, what a pain in the butt!
Back to work today, need to get some things done. May have ambitions to do some evening walking/stalking during the week though??

Had to shoot lefty instead of normal right hand, but the 250gr. shockwave dropped him quickly.
Well done! Glad to see someone having some success down there. I've been wanting to hunt Myakka for 3 years and haven't done it yet. Every time I pass it going down to my dad's house I say to myself,"This year!".
