Went to Chass on the 16th scouting saw 26 turkeys, 2 snakes(black) and a quail all by itself. Water in most places that have been dry the last 5yrs but probabley won't last long. They have already started churning all the fire roads (which makes for hard walking) and they have burnt and chopped more areas since spring Turkey. So even though you scout now will change before opening morning.
I wouldn't hunt it and personaly I wouldn't hunt near it chances are in chazz you would be sitting in someone's lap opening morning.
well went out scouting yesterday morning in chasawitska (HOT HOT HOT)after some google scout. and saw 7 deer, 3 bucks, a nice 8 and couple 4s to 6 and nice does. Fox and a cubby of turkey. all in all for the first time in there and all i can saw is wow. goes from thick to hard wood to scrub to swamp
try spot lighting there see alot more at night
very big,diverse habitat and over crowded at times. saw some smart and in shape hunters wearing chest waders and hunting the wetter/deeper areas that the majority of us lazier hunters won't go and push game into. but would not want to or be able to drag one out from there.
