Devil’s Hammock WMA – Due to hazardous flooding conditions and to ensure public safety, the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) and Levy County have temporarily closed all roads to vehicle use. This closure will be effective until the SRWMD and Levy County reopen these area roads to public vehicle use. (07/31/13)

Steinhatchee Springs WMA – Due to hazardous flooding conditions and to ensure public safety, the SRWMD has temporarily closed all roads east of County Road 357 (including Rattlesnake Ford Road) to vehicle use. This closure will be effective until the SRWMD reopens these area roads to public vehicle use. Persons are advised to proceed with caution while driving on any other roads on this area. (07/31/13)
◾Arbuckle WMA – Due to recent heavy rains and poor road conditions, Lake Godwin Road is closed until conditions improve. (07/22/13)
◾Everglades & F.S. Taylor, Holey Land, Rotenberger WMAs – Due to high water, public access to these areas has been restricted. (see news release - 07/17/13)
