I pull down just about all tape I see. I hate it. Like said, I will use a small piece to mark a trail head or turn. But I usually use brite eyes instead and use the track function on my GPS for those long deep walks in. You can follow almost in your footsteps using it

Yes, it's litter. I pull it all down and tote it out to be thrown away.

This spot is still my personal favorite example of flagging gone wild.....

It was a pretty oak hammock but I never could figure out why on earth all this was necessary.

I found a spot like that last year. Different color tape on both sides of the trail and placed about every 30 yds or so. I hunted in that area several times and never saw one hunter. I did see several stands set up, as well as no deer. Trail was laced with tracks looked like a deer highway filled with new tracks everytime I was there. I think that too many people had made them go nocturnal.

It is littering, I try to clean up woods as much as possible when i see it. Personaly i like to mark my trail and stand with these, they are made of light weight plastic so they are easy to carry.... they tell everyone else "Hey! i own this here piece public property stay away! ha
