Hey All,
I am a little new to hunting WMAs, have always had private land or leases most of my life. I have a lease in North Florida but havent had much time to make it up there since the start of gun season. I live close to Chassahowitzka WMA and was wondering if a Quota Permit or anything of that sort is needed? I have a bunch of doe tags from my lease and was wondering if its legal to use them in a WMA? I am searching for the closes place to Tampa where I can fill these tags if I cant make it up north. Any WMAs you all would recommend besides Chass thats doesnt require a Quota/Permit? Any help is much appreciated and hope you all are having a great season.

Thanks Panda, is it pretty crowded? Any advice on where to hunt to stay away from all the other hunters?

Don't think you can as they are issued for the property. I'm on the same boat, I have a doe tag I got for my lease but I don't think it can be used anywhere else. My guess, they are issued for management purposes.

Doe tags given for private land or lease's can not be used on WMA's. Only WMA doe permits are ones drawn with quotas on areas that have doe permits.
