Just read a few things about it, its only about 45 minutes from my house and I never knew it was there so I figured I would check it out, probably tomorrow I'll go out and spend a few hours.
Anyone been out there before? Just wanted to get some more time in the woods since the seasons are ending pretty much everywhere else around here until turkey season.
Been there many times. But only once this year due to it being very over grown! It's old orange groves with tall grass and weeds. Their are some nice hogs in there but it's no easy hunt what so ever. Be prepared to fight threw very tall grass.
I'm looking at the area map for it and it looks like there are two different sections, the bigger area towards the south, and then a smaller 40 acre area to the northwest. Is one spot better then the other, or I should just check them both out and decide for myself??
Their is 3 sections. The 40 acre piece last year had very few hogs and lots of deer. The area NE of the Germany canal rd. (I think thats what they call it) and the area south of the road. Both I've shoot hogs out of. But like i said it's hard hunting and way worse this year then in years past. Good luck :toast
