Got something against a normal tent? You can't be too primitive camping being that you brought along Rubbermaid bins.

Ya well there are some things that you really like to have with ya. LOL Wheres your pics ? I guess you missed those store bought pork steaks in the pic huh. We just wanted to get out and have some fun and we did !!! Thanks for the slam!!!!!!

Very cool. My wife wouldn't be caught dead tenting even in the back yard. I have been into wilderness survival ever since I was in the boy scouts . in fact it was my only merit badge. I still keep up with it because you never know when its goin to come in handy.I have been teaching it to the kids at my church. Its alot of fun when they see you eat a grasshopper.

Looks like a fun trip! What river did y'all go down? Was the area you camped on public land? Love doing that sort of thing just getting harder and harder to find places that let you get truly wild. Most public lands down here make you use designated camping spots, can't cut any wood, no open fires, etc.
