hahahaahhaha i thought the exact same thing when i saw it. And whats the deal with this panther stalking him for a few hours???? I doubt a panther would be stalking a human. And why would he be getting stuck in mud? And how can he start a fire with a diamond earring??
This kid should quit talking. Your compas was broke (you didn't look at it before putting it in your gear?) and flashlight got wet and didn't work? Sketchy... I can see losing the boots in mud, but if you are up to your neck (so he says) in detritus mud, you are not getting out alone. A sandboil (quicksand) does not allow for enough suction in which to lose your whole hunting getup...
Only he knows the truth, but it is starting to sound pretty shaky! Sad because I was really pulling for him.
