I thought about trying my hand at making a knife. Thought about wrapping the handle outta para cord, but I'm not sure cause I'm thinking how the grip would feel. I have a knife with a thin handle and, while it suits its purpose, it doesn't grip well in my hand. Nothing like my other knifes with a thicker handle. What do you think? You ever handle a knife with a para cord handle?
I have a machete with a paracord wrapped handle and after some abuse the cord does move around and has to be readjusted. It does help with padding the blows though. Perhaps a knife wouldn't be so bad, not as much abuse but could become a mess if it gets bloody.
