Thawed a ham roast out last night and popped it in the crockpot at 6AM, I rubbed it with just whatever seasonings were in the cabinet. I sliced 2 jumbo vidalia onions on top, added some hot pepper vinegar I made this year, and 1/2 bottle of Bullseye bbq sauce.
Let it go till about 4 PM and took it out and shredded it. Put it back in the pot and let it simmer for another 45 minutes in the juices.
Plopped it on a bun, topped with some cole slaw, side of field peas and macaroni n cheese
